[[Gem Concert!!!]]
I Can't Believe!!! It's all over... with a twitch of my eyes~
Well... 3 weeks of practice had just passed by without me knowing... tats damn fast!!! I had been dancing n practising for almost the whole day; nearly everyday for the past weeks... shag man~ But good thing is tat all these paid off in the end!!! =)
Whoosh... all these came to an end and it was time for us to put up the great show last night~ I think all of us really had a lot of fun thru the concert... its a great feeling... and I've finally found the lost feeling again after so long (since I left SRjc dance) ! I noe I may not be the best dancer or even half as good as those good ones... but I noe I've done my best... yup no regrets (though it could have been better =P)
Anyway we had a few rounds of "runs" before the actual thingy! And soon, we had to prepare our make-up n costumes... its like we'r going on a war... haa... we rushed like mad... foundation, eye-liner, blusher, eye-shadows, mascara, lipstick!! The worse thingy is my damn thick hair... my poor frens had to help me tie it all the way up... somemore need at least 2 ppls' help!!! Hee~(Thanks to Charlene... haha~ She's good with the hair!!!) But den, the bad thing is that the changing room was really packed with people... we had to share the room with cjc dancers too... wah we'r really squashed!!! *lolx*
Yippee... its time for the actual thing!!! I was getting a little nervous... but I managed to settle down~ Phew... and before we knew it, one twitch of my eyes... its our turn to perform... everything is so freaking fast!!! I actually cant believe it was the real thing so soon...
Hmm... I guess I'll really miss the performance.... n the dance rehearsals man~ *sobx*
Oh ya... we gave our instructor: Ryan a little something after the show... its a package full of different coffee mixes!!! Its contributed from all of us... haa... look at his shocked face after seeing it!!! Oh...wat a coffee addict~
Generally I feel tat the concert was great... our hip hop hustle (Yippe!!)... the modern dance pieces... (rather abstract...eRr)... cjc's really good n xat show with the 6 o'clock gal (she can really stretch her leg!!! man she's damn flexible~)... and S'pore poly's modern dance too... its a great success!!! And I'm glad ah gal n ah mah had came to support me... my mummy too!!! Haha... so happy to receive flowers from ah gal too!!! Yeah... after tat we took some pics together~ =)
Well well... basically I took a lot of photos yesterday =P Haha... but den I must get a cable to link to my com 1st... before I can upload the pics... its so exciting!!! Anyway I shall try to get the pix ready soon... relac k~ (Hey Daddi, when u free?!! pass me the cable leh!!?)
Whee~after everything the whole bunch of us went opp sch to makan... hee...
We had fun... and I hope my frens had all enjoyed themselves, be it the dancers or the audience!!! I'll nv forget this day~ =)
